Universities within the UK and around the world are constantly striving to better their facilities in order to accommodate the next generations learning.
With that in mind we were approached by a top university to design, install and test a fully functioning structured cabling network for a new building. We knew that we had to ensure that it was of the highest quality as well as being future proof in order to meet the needs of the students and faculty now, as well as in the years to come.
We installed over 630 Cat 6a data outlets over three floors. These outlets were in a wide range of locations from seminar rooms through to kitchens. The entire project utilized under floor conduit and drops from the ceiling void in order to install high level outlets.
Our installation met the manufacturer specification and was warranted for 25 years.
With all new build projects the delivery of this came down to highly skilled engineers working alongside our experienced project managers in order to deliver a comprehensive structured cabling solution.
